Voluntary Commitment against Abusive Non-Disclosure Agreements – Draft Version 1.0

We will not enter into a Non-Disclosure Agreement with a person making an allegation of misconduct or a related settlement.

We will not place any confidentiality restrictions on a person making an allegation of misconduct or a related settlement.

We will not enter into a non-disparagement clause with an employee or volunteer, whether current or former.

We hereby release any party from a Non-Disclosure Agreement or a confidentiality restriction regarding misconduct or an allegation of misconduct. We hereby release any current or former employees and volunteers from a non-disparagement clause.

Misconduct includes sin, sexually suggestive behavior, sexual harassment, sending or displaying sexually suggestive images, physical abuse, improprieties with our finances or financial reports, and violations of applicable law.

Allegation means a report to the organization or individual, in writing or orally, indicating the person reporting has reasonable cause to believe certain conduct has occurred.
